Yeah, it's an easy thing to say "it doesn't work", so I'll try to express my case with as much usefull information as I can !
I connect my GPS logger to my my machine, I'm using a USB hub, and I'm running windows 7 in a virtual machine.
I open the "Gps Logger Software" version 2.2.0
I click on "Start Streaming"
The software detect my device, and the button "Start Streaming" change color (as it's working)
I then open Tilt window and Roll window, by clicking on their respective icons.
I'm expecting to see something happening in those Window as I move the device in my hand (tilt and rolling), but nothing happen.
After 3,4 minute the program hang and then crash
Is there something I'm doing wrong ?

Did you insert the µSD card? The units must have the card insereted at all time.

No, I did not insert the uSD.
Now I formatted a uSD in fat16, and inserted it in the logger.
1) same problem with the software
2) the power led is still flashing green/red every 1sec
3) I realized that the GPS led is never flashing, I would expect it to flash red by default (no satellite found)
Any other test I can perform ?

We formated the uSD with: "format H: /FS:FAT /V:Name /Q /A:32K", and the partition is only 1Gig
We still have the same problems.
Anything else I can try ? Is there another windows software I could try ? an older version or something ?

No idea on that, it should work fine.
I think it would be better to simply by a 2GB µSD, then the problem is solved for sure.

I confirm that with a 2GB uSD already formated in fat16 (that I found in an old phone)
the LOGGER started to work without any problem.
my 2cents is, I find it strange tho that the device depend so much on the uSD, when what I just wanted to test
at first was to stream the data directly to the software.
